St. Vincent's Family Project

St. Vincent's Family Project aims to support young families and children especially where there are difficulties.

Services:

Family Space

A support service for pre school families offering supported play, one to one support, signposting, alternative therapies and activities for the whole family.

Creche facilities for parents attending courses (skills development, parenting, healthy living etc.).

Advice Space

  • rent arrears.
  • benefits and Council Tax.
  • Tribunal Representation.
  • housing problems.
  • advice and support for vulnerable people with household debt or welfare problems.

Creative Arts Therapy

Dramatherapists and Art Therapists offer sessions (both individual and group) one day a week in the school term throughout the academic year. Sessions arranged after referral. Self referral is possible.

Volunteering

Offers volunteering opportunities including student placements and internships.
