Sea Cadets
The Sea Cadets offers young people across the UK opportunities for personal development - by learning new skills and working in teams - offering an environment where young people find new confidence and inspiration.
For boys and girls aged 12 to 18 with interest in the sea.
Junior Cadets, aged 10 to 12. Activities include sailing, canoeing and abseiling. Life skills include first aid and communications.
Sea Cadets, aged 12 to 18. Activities range from rock climbing to shooting. Sea Cadets meet once or twice a week and during the summer when all the sailing and boating activity gets started, your unit will be out on the water most weekends too. You can take part in competitions and learn nautical skills as you complete your training.
The nearest unit to Westminster is the City of London Sea Cadets.
Some membership fees may apply but costs are kept to a minimum.
