Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman

The PHSO considers complaints that government departments, a range of other public bodies in the UK, and the NHS in England, have not acted properly or fairly or have provided a poor service.

The Helpline is open 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

As well as contact by phone there is a SignVideo service for BSL users.

You must first complain to the organisation or practitioner involved so that they can have the chance to resolve your complaint.

Leaflets explaining the process are available in all languages and an interpretation service is provided for non-English speakers.
