Mind Yourself

Mind Yourself aims to improve the health outcomes of London's Irish immigrant population. It works to reduce their health inequalities and to improve their wellbeing. Mind Yourself provides support to anyone who identifies as Irish, including Irish Travellers.

  • Offers health information and support for individuals to understand their health entitlements and to access appropriate physical and mental health services.
  • If you live in the boroughs of Islington, Hackney, Camden, Brent, Haringey, Westminster or Kensington and Chelsea Mind Yourself can call to your home and help you decide what you can do to improve your health.
  • Offers an accompaniment service to medical and health related appointments.
  • Runs wellbeing activities including art, music, reading/creative writing, meditation and exercise.
  • Runs peer support groups for carers, survivors of institutional abuse and a mental wellbeing group.
  • Monthly specialist health information sessions – addressing a variety of subjects.
