The London Forum of Amenity and Civic Societies

The London Forum of Amenity and Civic Societies represents the views and interests of amenity and civic societies and their members on issues that are important for the quality of life of Londoners.

The London Forum's aims are to encourage and promote high standards of planning, urban design, landscaping, infrastructure and transport, conservation, including conserving the individual character of localities, improvement of the built environment, open spaces, waterways and amenities, and avoidance or removal of unsightly or undesirable features, knowledge of and interest in such matters on the part of the general public and particular groups, civic pride and community involvement, sustainable development.

Taking part in meetings and consultations held by the Mayor of London, Transport for London, other Londonwide bodies, and departments and agencies of national government and responding according to its consituted aims.

Publishes Newsforum, a regular newsletter.
