London Fo Guang Temple
The London Fo Guang Temple is a branch of the Fo Guang Shan Monastery in Taiwan, which advocates Humanistic Buddhism.
The temple is open daily for services.
Special services include New Year Festival, Ching Ming Festival, Founder's Day and Buddhas' birthday celebrations, Ullambana Ancestor Memorial Service.
Courses:
- Meditation class (usually held on the third Sunday of the month but call to check before attending)
- Occasional buddhist lectures in English and Chinese
- Sunday school for children
Other activities and services include Buddhist and cultural exhibitions, charitable performances, New Year's party, vegetarian food fair, Buddhist funeral services, memorial services, weddings and birthdays.
This is a Chinese Mahayana Buddhist temple. All are welcome.
