London Anatomy Office

The London Anatomy Office was established in the early 1980s to provide a central service for co-ordinating the donation of bodies to the London medical and dental schools. Each year approximately 250-300 donated bodies are accepted by the London Anatomy Office on behalf of the following teaching institutions:

  • Brighton & Sussex Medical School
  • Imperial College London
  • King’s College London
  • Queen Mary University of London
  • The Royal College of Surgeons
  • St George’s University of London
  • University College London

Anyone over the age of 17 can donate their body. There is no upper age limit for bequeathing a body, however there is no guarantee that a donation will be accepted.
