Jewish Women's Aid

Jewish Women's Aid is a national charity with a London base. It supports and advises victims of domestic abuse. It was founded by volunteers who are now supported by a dedicated professional team.

Jewish Women's Aid also offers outreach support for women living in the community. This provides advice and information on a wide range of issues, including housing, legal and welfare benefits.

The organisation runs a kosher refuge, which provides safe short-term accommodation for women and their children fleeing domestic violence. Kashrut, Shabbat and festivals are strictly observed within the refuge enabling woman of all levels of observance to access the service.
