This is an independent, impartial service for customers with unresolved complaints about:

  • PPI (payment protection insurance)
  • banking
  • insurance
  • mortgages
  • credit cards and store cards
  • loans and credit
  • payday lending and debt collecting
  • pensions
  • savings and investments
  • hire purchase and pawnbroking
  • money transfer
  • financial advice
  • stocks, shares, unit trusts and bonds

The service is free to the consumer. Some rules and restrictions apply to the complaints they can deal with. They will ask you to contact your service provider directly to begin with and can help you with this. Your provider has eight weeks to repond to your complaint.
