A charity that aims to improve the quality of life and well being of the Chinese community, particularly those who are disadvantaged by working with them to meet their needs.
Advice Services: welfare benefits, immigration, housing, domestic violence.
Programmes:
- Elderly Programme promoting social, nutritional and health welfare.
- Contributory needs assessment and advocacy (in cooperation with social services and health authorities).
- Housebound Project - domiciliary care of Chinese elderly and disabled.
- Bilingual Nursery Programme - preschool education of children under 5.
- Volunteer programme.
- Community Development, including work with women’s and voluntary groups.
- ESOL and ICT classes.
- Nursery Club. Elderly Club.
