Buddhist Society

The object of the Buddhist Society is to publish and make known the principles of Buddhism and to encourage the practice of these principles.

The Society offers lectures, courses, classes, and associated retreats, as well as an annual summer school.

There is a specialist library and a bookstall. Visitors welcome.

It provides a free seven week Introduction to Buddhism course which is run four times a year for those interested in learning about Buddhism.

Holds Public Talks on all aspects of Buddhism including art history and culture.

On Saturday afternoon there is a meditation class open to the public.
