British Numismatic Society

Meets at: Warburg Institute, Woburn Square, WC1, on 4th Tuesday of each month (except July, August and December) at 6.00pm. Membership fees: Ordinary £32.00, with a discretionary reduction to £15.00 for those in full-time education or under 21. Membership qualifications: Must be a genuine numismatist, apart from commercial interest in coinage.

Promotes the study of the coins and medals of Great Britain, the Empire and Commonwealth, and the English speaking world. Has a library open to members only.

Publishes the British Numismatic Journal annually (c. 200pp), which is stocked at Westminster Reference Library, 35 St Martin's Street, London WC2H 7HP.

Also from time to time, special publications on subjects which are too large for inclusion in the journal are published.
