Base Youth Club
BASE is a free cultural and creative club for young people, aged between 7 and 21, in Pimlico. It is run by the Octavia Foundation.
The foundation provides a range of activities but the emphasis is on creating a user-curated programme of events. Sessions have included art workshops, dance classes, film screenings and music workshops.
The space is equipped with a kitchen, common room area and an office space that includes Apple computers with internet access and a number of creative packages.
Sessions take place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday:
- Monday and Thursday, 5-9pm for people aged 13-21
- Tuesday, 5-8pm for younger children aged 7-12 from 5-8pm.
The Octavia Foundation reimburses travel costs and serves a tasty and nutritious hot meal at each session.
